We are so excited to share a new effort we’re hosting this year: a pajama drive for children enrolled in programming at Youth & Family Services, and would love to have all of you participate! Here’s how it works:
- Pick a gift tag off the tree
- Buy and wrap a gift
- Return the gift, with the tag, to the store by 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21.
Each tag features the name, age and gender of a child enrolled in programming at YFS. It also includes what size they wear.
Kicks and Giggles Boutique at 329 Main St., Suite 3, is offering a 20% discount on your pajama purchase if you show them the gift tag at checkout. Thank you so much, Kicks and Giggles, for supporting this event!
We have trees in each store on the sales floors, with the tags. Our store is at 1920 E. Mall Drive, just across from Rushmore Crossing. We are asking people to return their gifts by 6 p.m. Dec. 21. YFS will come pick up the gifts on Dec. 22, so they can distribute them before Christmas.
If you’d like to participate but don’t want to make two trips to the store, we are offering a virtual tag pickup at our sister store, Rapid Chevrolet. Head to their Facebook page and comment on which tag you’d like. They will have the tag ready for you when you drop off your gift!
No time to wrap your gifts? No problem! You can return the gift in a bag with the tag, and YFS will wrap them before delivery. OR, you can visit the YFS gift-wrapping booth at the Rushmore Mall. They are there from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 16-18, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 19-23, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 24.
